AI isn't just a shiny new invention—it's been around for decades, patiently waiting for technology to catch up and make it accessible to everyone.
📺 I recently revisited a 1984 episode of Computer Chronicles, where AI was primarily focused on clunky expert systems and rule-based programs that required PhD-level expertise to build and operate on specialized hardware. These were narrow tools used for tasks like medical advice or oil exploration—exciting, but despite the guests' comments, out of reach for most businesses and everyday creators.
🗓️ Today, AI has transformed into user-friendly, no-code platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio, allowing us to quickly create custom Copilot agents and workflows or even generate music tracks. I've been experimenting with this and invite you to check out my AI-infused tunes on SoundCloud.
🪄 This evolution isn't magic; it's about availability. AI is empowering professionals and enabling small teams to achieve remarkable results. Regardless of your industry, there are quick wins to unlock—feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
🧪 AI is no longer confined to labs; it's now a vital part of our infrastructure, enhancing workflows and igniting creativity without replacing the human touch. It's similar to the calculator: once revolutionary, now just another tool in our toolkit.
